As many of you know, I will be traveling at the end of April and beginning of May. That has forced me to accelerate the Official Visit schedule for the year. Renaissance and Myrtle are completed and this leaves the remaining 6 for March/April.

• Attire is Business Casual; being as inclusive as possible
• Asking $100 from each lodge to defray costs
• Asking minimum 3 brothers from each lodge to help setup/teardown
• Women's program will be available for those who optionally choose it - otherwise, significant others are welcome to stay throughout the meeting
• Any Mason from the District is invited (and their +1)
• RSVP to Deputy by 12/14/18 is you plan to attend
4. Events (besides above) for New Worshipful Masters- Secrets of the Chair, 1/26/19, 2pm, Unity Lodge North Bend, Contact Johnathan Seaton (jonathanrseaton@gmail.com) for details
5. Contact Info - please ensure your Lodge Secretary has the your updated contact information to include email and cell phone. We will use this data to improve communications which will include a group text as reminders for events in the District.
6. Lastly, WMs of D7: we need you to publish your programs (send to dstamper@outlook.com and district7news@gmail.com) prior to the first week of each month to encourage visitations. This is critical to lodge visitations from within and outside of the District.

Hello Brothers:

Posting a short note regarding the LOMA and District Meeting schedule.

1. LOMA- 
• Purpose: meeting open to all masons in the district to ensure proper coordination and good cross-pollination across all lodges in the district/jurisdiction.  
• Invites will always be sent no less than 72 hours in advance to allow for the proper logistical support.
• Recurring Meeting Day:  First Tuesday of each month at rotating location.
• Next Meeting will be 11/6 at Kirkland Lodge.
2. District Meeting-
•  Date/Time: 1/11/2019, 6:30 meal, 7:30 meeting.
•  Location: Eastside Masonic Center, Willows Road, Redmond
•  Open to all masons from the District (and others) and their spouses.
3.  Preparations for District Meeting for WMs (or their representatives)
•  Same as before-
•  Come ready to speak to the population of brothers from your lodge
•  Be prepared to speak to the reason you meet (what is your lodge about)
•  Be prepared to speak to the strengths and weaknesses of your lodge & how you want to exploit the strengths, and turn the weaknesses into at least neutral.
•  Concordant Bodies
•  The GM would like to have heavy participation from the concordant bodies - so if you/your lodge are involved with those bodies, please contact them regarding participation in our district meeting.

Welcome back for many of you from some much needed down time. Remember that Myrtle and Renaissance do not go dark over the Summer. Though Myrtle met last week, you can still come out and join Renaissance on 8/27 if you need some interesting conversation and a good meal.

In glancing through the calendar, here are the dates for the next two months I plan to attend/visit lodge:

1. August 27th, Renaissance Lodge, 6:30pm, meeting and dinner to follow
2. September 5th, Unity Lodge, 7:30pm, stated meeting
3. September 6th, Mercer Island Lodge, 7:30pm, stated meeting
4. September 13th, Kirkland Lodge, 7:30pm, stated meeting
5. September 17th, West Gate Lodge, 7:30pm, stated meeting
6. October 8th, Lakeside Lodge, 7:30pm, stated meeting
7. October 13th, Fall City Lodge, 7:30pm, stated meeting
8. October 18th, Myrtle Lodge, 7:30pm, stated meeting
9. October 29th, Renaissance Lodge, 6:30pm, stated meeting and dinner to follow

These are not OVs, so relax. I am working with GL to solidify our District Meeting date in January, so stay tuned on that.
